A true UFO in the musical world industry, Hilight Tribe has taken the bull by its horns and changed around all the dogmas by playing a techno music without the help of any machines. By a very complete musical process and a rich mix of influences, (afro, indien, reggae, rock or electro) this five musicians and their acolyte ingé-son have been able to revitalize the crazy bet to produce a true 100% instrumental trance label, opening the door to a music of a new gender.
Here, the beat bass/ percussion boom is combined with the incredible instrument gender of all kind (guitar, didgeridoo, voice, percussion for the 4 parts of the planet) on which are added effects to which only the tribe has the secret. The atmosphere that is felt at the concerts is unique, mixing dancers and slamers in the same space. This originality has already allowed them to tour on the most prestigious festivals in France and in the world. From Goa to Ibiza, America or Japan, the group notoriety has not stopped to evolve, reuniating in each occassion, the concert followers with those of the rave-parties. In other terms we are here really talking about the musical alternative, of both a traditionnal gender as well as an avant-garde, a bridge thrown between time and horizons. Hilight Tribe has surpass their tenth anniversary, and today counts more than 6 albums, 3 vidéoclips, 2 singles and more than 600 concerts. Without a doubt the six members take the advantage of the spearhead position of the instrumental electro wave.

- MAHA WAVE (1999) – The first step of the group. In between a tribal music and psychedelism. The birth between a world music and beat trance style.
- STELLAR RAIN (2000) & STELLAR RAIN RMX (2004)– The second part of the group. A record created in Ibiza during meteoroligical phenomenas of a rare nature. Since 2004, the record has been reedited in a more elaborate graphical version but more has been remasterized.
- LOVE MEDECINE AND NATURAL TRANCE (2002) – With this third part, the group has once again stick in the knife deeply and maintain that a new musical gender has been born. An album with more strong, incisive and more mordant projecting the listener beyond space and time.
- HILIGHT TRIBE LIVE (2005) – The famous energy that only existed during the concert is now engraved on CD in response to a very large demand. A record that brings a dynamic without precedent.
- LIMBOLAND (2006) – The special issue of the band. An add on of this last trance pearl, it has the different sound experience that were kept under the blancket until this day (Africain music, reggae, breakbeat...)
- TRANCELUCID (2008-2009) – Here we are. A pivotal album. The one of maturity will say some people. Hilight Tribe has found his cruising speed. The style, the instrumental matering, the sound... Finally, all have been taken care of answering to the wishes. The tribe has done more than use the synthetizor and rythm box but has also used the help of archaic and sophisticated instruments have been able to offer a new sound. They are now the leader of a new current called Natural Trance. A big thanks to Dan and Morad for the duo Whiked Hayo that have created and mixed this album adding all their trance experience. (Whicked Hayo – 1th album « Soundbreakers » at Night Oracles records). Thanks also to N'do Mbemba Kanouté who for the second time have come to land us the warmth of his words, voice and aura. A record realized between Noisy Le Sec, Bomako (title Tambakunka) and belgium. Take the time to really listen to this record. You will discover in this collaboration a new dimension bringing all the value in details of the virsuosity and incredible inventivity of the musician composing the tribe. Of course a smile will shine lips and you will start to dance. Without a doubt, the ultime experience will remain the scene when a group can than exercice his charism and take advantage of the particular privilege relation he has with its public, giving all its mesure.
